A popular myth has been circulating online for years: "Never pack Christmas ornaments in vacuum bags – the suction will crush them to dust." Interestingly, this myth didn't come from nowhere. If you try to vacuum-seal cheap, thin-walled ornaments from mass-produced factory lines, that is exactly what will happen.

Machine-blown ornaments have walls just a fraction of a millimeter thick. They are so fragile and poorly made that the slightest negative pressure will collapse them instantly. No self-respecting craftsman in Poland would ever release something like that from their workshop - it simply falls below any acceptable standard.

So why does our workshop vacuum-seal entire series and collections into large bags without a moment's hesitation?

The answer lies in traditional craftsmanship and simple physics:

1. "The thickness and density of traditional glass:" Glass formed and blown by hand at the burner by an experienced craftsman has the right mass and structural integrity. The negative pressure generated by a household vacuum cleaner makes no impression on it whatsoever.

2. "Cushioning and protection:" Before each ornament goes into the shared bag, it is wrapped in a protective layer of bubble wrap. The wrap absorbs the initial pressure, and the bag does the rest.

3. "Protection against the passage of time:" By removing the air from a bag filled with ornaments, you cut off moisture and oxygen. The internal silvering does not oxidize, the lacquer does not fade, and after twenty years, the ornaments look exactly as they did on the day they were lifted from the flame.

You don't need to dedicate half a wardrobe or an attic to enormous cardboard boxes. Genuine, hand-blown Polish glass is not only beautiful – it is, above all, durable. Durable enough to defend itself, even under pressure.
